Time sequence generator

World's simplest time tool

With this browser-based application, you can generate a sequence of ascending or descending clock times or timer values. In the options, you can specify the start time of the sequence, the required number of timer values in the output sequence, and the delta interval between the sequence elements. You can also customize the clock format and composition, and set the character to separate output clock values. Created by computer nerds from team Browserling.

Time sequence generator tool What is a time sequence generator?
This is a quick online utility for generating a sequential print-out of clock times. You can create a list containing any number of increasing or decreasing timers. The sequence starts at a specific time that you can enter in the options and each timer in the sequence can increase or decrease by a specific interval. For example, a sequence that starts at 12:00:00, contains 3 clock values, and has a positive interval of "1 hour" will look like this: "12:00:00, 13:00:00, 14:00:00". The same sequence with a negative interval of "1 hour" will look like this: "12:00:00, 11:00:00, 10:00:00". To create a decreasing sequence, simply switch to the corresponding sequence mode in the options. The time interval (also known as the delta time) can be specified in seconds, minutes, and hours. For example, "2 minutes", "5 hours", "1hr 30sec", and "1hr 2min 3sec". If you want the times in the sequence to have slight deviations, you can make them change by a non-constant interval. This is accomplished by setting a value for the fuzzy interval option. For example, if the interval is 10 minutes and the additional fuzzy interval is 2 minutes, then the timer sequence can change by 10±2 minutes, i.e. the program will randomly increase (or decrease) the timers by 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12 minutes. You can also select the time components of the generated clock times in the options. In particular, the clock may consist of all time components (hours, minutes, and seconds), such as "12:30:45", just hours and minutes, such as "12:30", or only hours, such as "12". You can also switch to a 12-hour time format with am/pm suffixes, enable/disable the padding option that prints digital time, and specify a character (or multiple characters) to separate the timers in the sequence. Timeabulous!

Increasing Time Sequence
In this example, we create a sequence of incrementing clock times. We start our list at 00:00:00 and increment each clock time by 10 minutes. As a result, we get a sequence of 8 increasing clock times, which we display in a vertical column.
00:00:00 00:10:00 00:20:00 00:30:00 00:40:00 00:50:00 01:00:00 01:10:00

Select the composition of sequence clock times.
Generate 12-hour timers in the sequence (with am/pm).
Generate timers with hours, minutes, and seconds zero-padded to two digits.
Decreasing Time Sequence
This example generates a descending sequence of six timer values. We decrease all three timer parts at once – the hours part is decreased by "2 hours", the minutes part by "10 minutes", and the seconds part by "30 seconds". We also set the fuzzy factor to 5 seconds, which creates a tiny deviation in the timers and produces a non-linear time sequence.
10:00:00 07:49:26 05:39:00 03:28:28 01:17:55 23:07:26

A List of 12-hr Clock Times
In this example, we create a list of truncated times consisting of only hours and minutes. We use a 12-hour time format without the padding and start the list at 9am. Every next time is 20 minutes greater than the previous one and there are 10 incrementing values in the list. The separator character is the squiggly mark (also known as the tilde symbol "~").
9:0 am ~ 9:20 am ~ 9:40 am ~ 10:0 am ~ 10:20 am ~ 10:40 am ~ 11:0 am ~ 11:20 am ~ 11:40 am ~ 12:0 am
